SHHS Leadership is partnering with The Civics Center next week for our first annual Voter Registration Drive. In Oregon, students can register to vote at 18 years old, but can also pre-register to vote as early as 16 years old! That means when you turn 18 you are already registered and can vote in the next election!
We will be visiting classes during 8th period next week to help register you to vote. So far Leland, Anderson, Coffin, and Philip's classes are on our schedule. We hope more classes will sign up soon. If we don't visit your class you can also come by the commons during your lunch to register at our booth! It only takes a few minutes! Here is what you need to register during this drive: Oregon State Issued Drivers Licence/Permit/ or ID. With one of these items, we can register you quickly online as they have your signature on file. If you don't have that they can do it with the last 4 digits of your social security number using a paper registration form we will send off on your behalf at the end of the drive. |

Join one of our great SHHS activities, a club, or run for an elected office or serve on student council. Or at lease come out and support our Lion athletics with your friends!! SHHS has many great things for you to be involved in.
